Cannot connect BitWarden and DuckDuckGo on macOS

Steps To Reproduce

This is the same issue as #11692, except that issue has been closed. Seems the bug has reappeared.

DuckDuckGo version 1.141.1 (448)
Bitwarden version 2025.5.1 (43022)
MacOS 15.5

Expected Result

The integration should work.

Actual Result

The integration dos not work - see the attached video.

Additional Context

The Web Browser dropdown doesn't have an option for DuckDuckGo, so I chose Chrome.

Another user here...

Just to be sure:

1. Did you download and install DuckDuckGo from https://duckduckgo.com/mac? (the MacOS app store version of DDG doesn't work with the Bitwarden integration)
2. Did you download the Bitwarden desktop app (https://bitwarden.com/download/#downloads-desktop)? (because the DDG integration works with the Bitwarden desktop app, and not with the Bitwarden browser extensions)

Make sure to follow all steps to set up the DDG/BW integration as in detail instructed/described here: https://bitwarden.com/help/duckduckgo-macos-browser-integration/

If you follow everything as here and in the Bitwarden Help Sites instructed: does it still not work?

PS: As you can also see in the Help Sites, the DDG/BW integration has no connection to the Chrome browser... the integration has to be established between the Bitwarden desktop app and the non-MacOS app store version of the DDG browser.
