WeedX

An opensource field robot for weeds removal in corn crops.

The goal of this project is to build a robot that navigates itself on the field, detects weeds and remove them. Its divided in four major categories :

1. Robot

The mechanical structure, motors , batteries, solar system,..

2. Guidance system

The GPS with RTK , navigation software, motor drivers,..

3. Vision system

The camera, YoloV8 software algorythm, dataset ,..

4. Manipulator

The system for removing the actual weeds.
