Show Custom UI for In stream ads

Hello,
We want to show some custom UI when In video ads are on going, we are not using IMA ads.
We are getting SCTE-35 markers in the manifest file but in exoplayer we are not getting the metadata.

What should be the better way to handle this?
What should be the idle SCTE marker should we use or do we need to parse the manifest manually?
