Does react-instantsearch-router-nextjs deprecate react-instantsearch-nextjs?

This post from May 2023 says:

Our solution for creating a Next.js compatible router for InstantSearch is now generally available and published on npm as react-instantsearch-hooks-router-nextjs.

But there is also react-instantsearch-nextjs, also from Algolia's repo, and also published a day ago. But, that one is marked experimental, and the former one is not.

I'm having a hard time finding updated guidance on what packages to use to get instantsearch routing working with NextJS.

There's two packages:

1. https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-instantsearch-nextjs: currently marked as experimental, but usable. This is meant for app router
2. https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-instantsearch-router-nextjs: the older package, only for pages router
