Suggestion: Pin files?

I'm not sure if it would be possible, but it would be awesome to be able to pin certain files to the tabs and have them be there independent of project/working folder (like the start menu of windows these days).

I thought it would be perfect for e.g. easily adding new snippets (by pinning snippets.json) to Emmet (just an example), I'm sure there would be other use cases (perhaps a default package.json or grunt.js or whatever!)

Whaddaya think? Yes/no?
