Description
I think I broke the configuration of the BMC in the web, as now the web interface is no longer accessible. I went to the Configuration page in a Dell c1100 poweredge server and did something similar to the following:
I unchecked IPv4 Enabled, Enabled IPv6, and setup the IPv6 information. Unfortunately, I must have made a mistake, as the server isn't reachable over IPv6. So, I set the IPv4 information using the ipmitool which works fine, but I can't get the web interface to work or bind on IPv4 again. Probably because that stupid IPv4 Enabled checkbox needs to be set. Any idea if there's some kind of raw
command that re-enable the web interface on IPv4? It doesn't seem to matter changing things in the BIOS. It still won't listen to the IPv4 address, and I can't access the web.
Is there some kind of hidden secret raw command to reset the BMC settings to factory default? Is the only way to do this to reflash the BMC firmware (which would need to be done in person - not remotely)? Any insight would be appreciated.
