Can I use a smaller model for minigpt_v2 ? like 3B or 4B?

Hi, just like the title
I am using a server with RTX2080Ti with my own custom dataset.
Maybe I could use a smaller model like 3B or 4B as my first choice?
The last thing I could do is redecing the image's resolution.
