Input for many games stopped working after yesterday's SteamVR Beta update (2.12.3)

Yesterday, before the update, I was using my driver in a game and it worked. Today, after the update, I used my driver again but found that input was not being received by the game. In other words, I would not move in the game.

I changed the version of SteamVR to the non-Beta release (2.11.2) and it worked properly again. So I believe something in yesterday's update is causing the issue.

I am using a Meta Quest 3, connecting to SteamVR via Steam Link or Virtual Desktop (I tried both, same issue). My SteamVR driver is for a locomotion peripheral, where it basically sends joystick commands to the game.

Games that I tested that no longer work on 2.12.3.

In the controller menu I went to the page where I can test my driver. It shows that input is received (little light blue dots show up as expected).

I attempted to make a new binding file for Compound and modify it both in the Steam VR Input Binding menu and in a text editor (modifying the raw json), but neither approach worked. I also tired copying the input binding file for the Oculus Touch controller, since that works on 2.12.3, and update it accordingly to work for my driver (update paths for joystick/trackpad to "/user/treadmill/input/joystick", return input with left hand), but that did not work either.

I have attached the binding files for my driver for the games listed above.

Hey, thanks for reporting! This is exactly the sort of thing we hope to find in beta. Can you reproduce the issue and then attach a SteamVR system report? SteamVR -> Menu -> Create System Report

Since 2.12.3 my Pimax controllers also stopped working.

If you can send me a SteamVR system report (SteamVR -> Menu -> Create System Report) that would be helpful. Thanks.

Just tried 2.12.4 with all the games I listed. Everything is working again. Thank you! I generated a system report after my testing just in case you want it. Let me know if you do and I can upload it. I won't close the ticket since @Muffexx also commented.

I the meantime I re-tested 2.12.2. Tracking still works.

In 2.12.3 & 2.12.4 tracking doesn't work properly. The controllers are working the the steam menu, but not in the app/game itself. Just tried it on Moon VR Video Player.
