Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

The global world ranking leaderboard in Counter-Strike 2 is currently not displaying. Previously, this leaderboard was accessible and provided a cool way to see how players ranked globally, but it appears to be missing or non-functional now. Although the friends category is functional, so that leads me to believe that this is a regression.

I took a break after S1 and just recently came back for S2 with the release of new maps. The leaderboards were working in the previous season.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Launch CS2
  2. Navigate to the premier ranking leaderboard
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select a region
  4. Nothing is populated, except for the friends filter

the apis are offline for world ratings and region ratings. only friends leaderboard for danger zone and premier are active.

Honestly, that's disappointing to read. I was excited to grind that ladder again. Is there a timeline for when it's coming back?

I played Condition Zero to Source and community servers commonly had a leaderboard. I think the lack of one undermines the goal and integrity of Premier.

What is the competitive motivation for an end user to play CS2? Personally, I’m far more engaged when I can see measurable progress over time. That kind of feedback loop is key for driving long-term player retention.

Right now, it feels like Premier is running without one of its core pillars. Leaderboards help create narratives and a sense of progression for users. Would love to see this prioritized if the goal is to make Premier a true long-term competitive platform.
