Symptoms

It will eventually crash the Steam Deck, with the RAM use spiking up to ~14.2GB. Exact same problem as God of War and others.

Reproduction

Play for a while and watch the RAM creep up until it crashes, and potentially entirely reboot the Steam Deck.

Not to derailed but just reporting, i'm on desktop but also with limited RAM/VRAM and using AMDVLK instead of RADV makes it playable.

Symptoms

Being the host in a multiplayer world crashes the game as soon as someone tries to join.
You can play as the host in said world, but only as long as nobody tries to join you.

Multiplayer itself works fine though

I confirm:

• [ yes] that pressing the Play button in the Steam client is sufficient.
• [ no] that runtime config options are necessary to run the game.
• [ no] that no workarounds other than PROTON_* env variables are necessary.

Issues

Although I consider the gaming experience equal to Windows there are remaining issues:
when opening inventory fps decreases massively
and this is the only issue
every other place or activity has good quality and fps

my note

the game works great all the time it is practically the same performance as on windows
only when opening the inventory in the game the fps drops drastically this is the only problem I think it can be fixed and the game can be supported on steam deck after repair

I think it's a very popular game so fixing this bug and supporting it on steamdec will help a lot
I would dream of playing sons of the wornest on such a cool little console in a warm bed

• I noticed that after a longer time of playing 5-15m the problem disappears by itself and the equipment has smooth fps
