Verify.js using deprecated method

I'm new in GitHub so maybe this is not the right place to leave this kind of comments but just detected our application is using this repo and it's usign a method that is deprecated in nodejs12.x. Is there any release with this warning message resolved? Any plans to change this method to use Buffer.from() instead of new Buffer()?
