is blammo good with binary logs

Hi,

I'm looking to change my logger from logback (java) to blammo(js).
my question is I already have readers that read the binary logs files from logback and I don't want to rewrite this readers,
so is blammo write binary logs?

Hi Raga,

Thank you for your question. Blammo has only a few appenders at the moment, but no binary appender/writer. See all the *_appender.js files in the repository: https://github.com/StevenLooman/blammo/tree/master/lib.

Though, writing your own binary appender should not be too hard. If you look at https://github.com/StevenLooman/blammo/blob/master/lib/file_appender.js for example, all you need is a append() method which writes a log entry.

The mongodb appender is a bit more interesting, see https://github.com/StevenLooman/blammo-mongodb-appender.
