Floats

Hi,
I installed the htc file, and it appears to be doing something, since my IE7 page layout changed in Browserstack and IE Tester.

Question: Is there an issue with floats? When I have floated items before a table: without htc file, the table was more than 100% width. With htc, layout gets wonky and table is less than 100% width. I had clear:both placed on the table.

If you've encountered this before, is there a fix?
