Missing fonts

Describe the bug
It seems like in certain circumstances, on specific operating systems, the fonts are either not recognized or missing. This leads to each character being an empty bordered box. You can check out the image below as an example.

Expected behavior
It should just load the existing fonts, or use one as backup present on the system.

Please note that this is not necessarily an issue with Raspirus directly. I have found other instances of people having this issue with other applications on Ubuntu. Maybe it's an issue with Snap or related to Ubuntu. I will add some references to possible solutions later.

The issue has been confirmed to happen with Snap installs. We can't fix this as we have no control over it. You can try to debug it on your side by checking out the extensive bug report on Snapcraft:
