Hi @craigl33 , uh that is unfortunate. I am no longer employed at FIAS and do not have access to the files in the data bundle anymore, either. This just reinforces, that such data bundles need to be published properly at zenodo or similar. But the files in there are outdated now by several years, anyway. So not a huge loss. Luckily, @PeterKlein11 from meridian economics has been improving the model, since I conceived it at FIAS. Please, followup with him at: https://github.com/MeridianEconomics/pypsa-rsa I'll leave the issue open to add a deprecation notice and point at Peter's fork instead. |
Hi Jonas
Thanks for the information and clarification. While it was clear from the
readdocs (https://pypsa-za.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) that PyPSA-ZA had
become PyPSA-RSA, there was definitely inconsistent info which kept leading
me to the repo on your github. I am now exploring the Meridian/PyPSA-RSA
fork and will continue from there.
Thank you for your swift response.
Kind regards,
Craig

Hello team
It appears your link for the data (https://vfs.fias.science/d/f204668ef2/files/?dl=1&p=/pypsa-za-bundle.7z) is currently broken. I would be most interested to explore your model, and would be very grateful if you could post a new link to this data bundle.
Regards,
Craig
