please check GUI behavior

The GUI works for me excellent once - from images to vectors. However, when I try to change the parameters of the same session and using buttons < and > to move to the images on the right panel (under the files list) - I cannot get back to images and restart the processing.

Could you please add a single button to go to the beginning of PIV processing or advise me how to solve this bug? Thanks

What are the types of your images? The original, selected images are not stored the the GUI, so that could be your issue. In the General settings tab, there is the entry widget navigation parameter which dictates what is shown on the navigation panel. However, if you go back to the images you selected, it would load all images of that file type.

Does not seem to relate to the type of images. The clicks on the buttons <> change the label above the file list, but it is "stuck" on vec files, I cannot repeat the PIV analysis

When trying to run a test using OPenPIVGui on two images I get the following message:

PIV evaluation thread stopped. module 'openpiv.windef' has no attribute 'get_coordinates'

Now I found the remark Alexlib made on this here (https://groups.google.com/g/openpiv-users/c/RWrMS45Pd5o), and installed the upgrade, but to now effect: anything I did wrong? When I analyse the same images in a 'normal' pythons script using openpiv I have no problems.

Someone has an idea?

I'm concerned about "installed the upgrade" - I'm not sure I created a valid upgrade in the sense that maybe in some cases it does not necessarily remove the previous version. Please use clean conda or virtual environment and install the clean version using the zip file

@alexlib I just did an evaluation with 4 different image types (.tiff, .bmp, .jpeg, .pgm) and could not replicate the issue on a clean install. Can you tell me what you did?

still the same. I process everything and the list of files changes from images to vectors. But when I try afterwards to move back to images and change some settings, I'm stuck

apparently the list changes from vectors to vectors only, skipping or jumping above the list of images I started with.

files are being filtered by extension. If the list is empty, that extension is skipped and the next one down the list is selected. Maybe, try a print statement to see what is occurring, something like (untested)

I'm also not very sure about the < back and > forward buttons - shouldn't I be able to get back to the original list of selections and not to the complete list of files in the directory ?
