QEMUv8: "make check SPMC_AT_EL=2 XEN_BOOT=y" is very slow and times out

With a clean checkout of the OP-TEE environment from the manifest Git.

$ make -j$(nproc) check SPMC_AT_EL=2 XEN_BOOT=y CHECK_TESTS=xtest XTEST_ARGS=regression_1006

There was a report about timers while tee-supplicant was working that might relate to this, but I can't find it. Anyway, I've also noticed that it runs very slowly.
