Earthquake fault traces disappear at high zoom levels

Occurred to me I could join the (last) decade and create an issue instead of an email.
Subject pretty much says it all. The USGS earthquake fault traces disappear at high zoom levels.

This can be resolved by setting the Maximum Native Zoom level to 9 for the USGS layers.
