is 'cleandir_params' used to remove recordings according to some criteria ? I can find no definition of its valid values |

Yes. It allows users to set up a criteria associated with the removal of recordings. The documentation would be included with the downloaded repo in the doc directory as motion_config.html. (The raw html can be seen here ) |

No. The database has it's own "clean up" routine that runs hourly and checks whether files still exist. |
