[Feature Request]: Create Microsoft 365 groups using Dynamic membership type

• **me or my organization is currently an active sponsor of the product at the $99,- level.

Problem Statement

We are able to create Microsoft 365 groups with Dynamic membership type from Entra portal, but this is not allowed/possible from CIPP.

Benefits for MSPs

This is beneficial as it reduces the steps needed to perform the task. Since CIPP is allowing us to create Microsoft 365 groups with direct membership assignments, this is ideal to also be available on the tool for better user experience as well. Without digging through Entra portal we won't actually be able to find that this is possible, so adding it on CIPP would give it more visibility for us and other MSPs that are looking for this type of solution.

Value or Importance

Nice to have, we have an established workaround currently at the moment.

This functionality definitely exists on the Add Group page, excuse the mobile screenshot but..

What I mean is to create Microsoft 365 groups, but using Dynamic membership rules to assign membership. When you click the option to use "Microsoft 365 group", it only gives you ability to directly assign members, but not via dynamic rules. The Dynamic Group option creates a Security group, not a Microsoft 365 group.

Aha! That makes more sense now! 😂

I'll take a look tonight and see if I can put in a selector to choose what kind of Dynamic Group gets created!
