Hello @gericdong, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

Summary of Changes

This pull request updates the live API preview example. Specifically, it updates the model ID to gemini-2.0-flash-live-preview-04-09 and replaces session.send() with session.send_client_content() using the Content and Part types to structure the input.

Highlights

  • Model ID Update: The model ID has been updated to gemini-2.0-flash-live-preview-04-09 to reflect the latest live preview model.
  • Method Replacement: The session.send() method has been replaced with session.send_client_content() to align with the updated API requirements, using Content and Part to structure the input.

Changelog

  • genai/live/live_with_txt.py
    • Updated model_id to gemini-2.0-flash-live-preview-04-09 (line 30).
    • Replaced session.send() with session.send_client_content() (line 38).
    • Added imports for Content and Part from google.genai.types (lines 21-27).
    • The turns parameter is now a Content object with role 'user' and a list of Part objects containing the text input.

Code Review

The pull request updates the live API preview example to use the new model ID and the send_client_content() method. The changes seem straightforward and necessary for the example to work with the latest API version.

Summary of Findings

  • Model ID Update: The model ID has been updated to gemini-2.0-flash-live-preview-04-09. This change is necessary to use the latest live API preview.
  • Method Replacement: The send() method has been replaced with send_client_content(). This change reflects the updated API and requires constructing a Content object with role and parts.

Merge Readiness

The changes appear to be necessary and correct for the example to function with the latest API. I recommend merging after verifying that the updated example works as expected. I am unable to directly approve the pull request, and users should have others review and approve this code before merging.
