Problem

New version of React native has been released https://github.com/facebook/react-native/releases/tag/v0.77.0-rc.6 with more improvements and fixes to bugs our app experiences. We can also remove some patches most likely.

Solution

Let's try to start working on the upgrade, so we can test early and prepare the App for the upgrade or find any blockers sooner than later cc @WoLewicki @j-piasecki
