Renaming Pets - Pet Name Gone If You Die - Blank Pet Name

Title says it all but - last few updates the ability to setup an npc to rename your pet was done. It works, issue is when you die/pet poofs, next time you recast it, name is blank (ya gotta get it renamed every time). Intentional or fixable? - Catapultam said he would look at it.
