• December 2015: YouTube introduces Trending.
• July 2018: YouTube rebrands Trending to Explore.
• May 2021: YouTube Shorts button replaces Explore button in navigation bar.
• June 2025: Return YouTube Trending releases.
• July 2025: YouTube removes YouTube Trending button.

Currently Return YouTube Trending supports 83 languages (all languages YouTube supports) in the backend and 2 languages (English and Korean) in the frontend.
