Save views count from live to replay

Describe the problem to be solved

When a live ends and a replay is created the views count wont follow from the live to the replay.

Describe the solution you would like

Transfer the views count from the live to the replay. If the live had 100 viewers the replay should start with 100 views to reflect how many users have seen the video.

No, I think it should be for permanent lives as well.

For normal lives comments and likes should be transferred as well. For permanent lives I’m not sure about comments and likes, maybe configurable?

Maybe this should be a toggle in administrative settings / the config yaml. I prefer that VODs not carry over the view count from the associated livestream. As a content creator, the view count on VODs is important for me to understand how many people are watching the VODs (versus the live streams).

Maybe, but that seems like a lot more work to implement. It would also be a little bit more inconvenient for my workflow; it's just nice to be able to scroll through all of my videos and see which ones are being watched.

It seems to just come down to a conceptual thing: in my mind, the VOD is not the same piece of content as the stream. In your perspective, maybe they should be thought of as being the same. I still think that, if this feature were to be implemented, having it be a config option makes the most sense:
