Sometimes this effect occurs after scrolling, opening and closing nodes.

I'm also having this issue. I'm currently having to prevent it by using full Reset events instead of Replace events for single item updates, which is very inefficient.

I noticed that the latest Avalonia 11.0.6 included a pull request AvaloniaUI/Avalonia#13795 that fixes a similar looking issue with ListBox and VirtualizingStackPanel AvaloniaUI/Avalonia#11666. If it's related, that pull request made some changes to RealizedStackElements. This repository seems to have it's own copy of the RealizedStackElements class, so maybe carrying over the changes might help fix it?

Could be: I've done a quick port of those changes here: #241 but I've not had time to write tests or even manually test it. If you'd be able to try it to see if it fixes your issues, that would be appreciated.

I've also just tested the pull request and it fixed the issue for me too. Thank you!

Edit: Just noticed the pull request is missing a change that was made on line 344, changing a "-" to "+". Will test if it works with that change also.

Edit 2: Yep, that also works. I guess that was fixing a separate bug, since AvaloniaUI/Avalonia#13795 seems to fix multiple bugs.
