I definitely tried 24.04 before I settled on 22.04 as the Ubuntu base, and the reason was CVE scans. It's possible that since then they have been resolved but CI does not verify that, we would have to check. However, 22.04 is an LTS (long term support) release and will continue getting patches for many years. We are not under any pressure to update. I'd suggest we configure dependabot to not update this, and then close. |

I think if we close dependabot won't do it again, but not 100% sure. Let me just try closing for now. |
