Private DNS

In the README, it says "Uses random upstream resolvers from the configuration - increases your privacy through the distribution of your DNS traffic over multiple provider" but this wouldn't do much for privacy given that most dns providers aren't very private and this would only give your data to more providers. The solution would either be to remove that block of text and corresponding feature or to make a private dns provider like Mullvad or Quad9 be the default (And maybe even DNS over Tor if you're feeling bold).

The idea behind it was: if you configure 10 external providers, each of them will get only 10% of your queries. So it is difficult to create a complete profile of a user for one "bad" external provider.

The issue is that most random DNS providers won't be using DNS over HTTPS and so your ISP could collect then sell that data. Moreover, the DNS providers themselves would sell data to many of the same data brokers and so it's better to use a trustworthy DNS provider.

You could still put 3 trustworthy (in your perception) DNS providers into this feature, and each of them would only see 33% of your queries.

The feature itself can provide benefit, but like you pointed out, users should choose privacy-focused providers and enable encrypted DNS protocols for best results. But that is not in the hand of this application.
