Control+Shift+T still seems to work. Seems that sessions aren't restored on app restart anymore? |
The lost tabs are not in history either. Only a couple that I looked at recently. |
They're there somewhere I think. If you cmd/ctrl+t and search the the tab name, you can 'switch to tab'. Meaning it's there somewhere. |
Guys, here's a work around: Download this addon: Or this one: Go to the work space with lost tabs. |
@wogam It worked, thank you! |
I lost nearly a 100 open, unpinned tabs after the latest update. @wogam's work around helped me retrieve all of it. Thank you! |
Guys it's a blessing in disguise: we are teaching tab hoarders to close some damn tabs, you don't need 100 |
Very useful extension anyways, thanks. I wonder if then the cause for this is that tabs were hidden and not actually closed? |
My Flatpak install just updated last night to 1.8.1b and I lost all my tabs, none of these suggestions worked for me including the extensions. |
The same thing happened to me upon update to 1.8.2b; wogam's workarounds did not work for me either, nor did any of the other suggestions. I have lost all my open tabs. Tab hoarder or not, I was relying on being able to return to those tabs. A solution from the Zen team would be most welcome. |
Didn't work for me. The only solution i have right now is using Time machine backup to restore the last saved Profile folder after an update. |
@emoveo-design Maybe try setting up a new profile and see if that works, just as a test. You can always switch back to the old one if it doesn't help. |

What happened?
After the last update (1.8b), 4 of my 5 workspaces (except the first one) have lost all open tabs, only the pinned ones remain.
Any fixes for this? Pretty nasty loss tbh.
Reproducible?
