Yes, this setting is not exposed int he CLI. What is the use case - why would you need this? |
I’m using virtual screen mirroring on my ultrawide display to maintain the proper aspect ratio. However, when gaming, I switch back to the physical screen to get higher FPS and more stable video performance. The problem is, each time I start or finish a gaming session, I have to manually dissociate the virtual screen and disable it in BD, then reverse the process afterward. I’d like to write a script to automate this procedure. |
Ahh, I see. Do you always need to have the virtual screen mirroring or only when you are connected to this particular display (so association is important)? I will add association configuration (tagged this as an enhancement request) in the future to CLI but right now this feature is not available. Alternatively if association is needed, you can probably script turning the virtual screen on/off when detecting this display, but it might be a bit more complicated as you'd need some tool that can discern such things. I plan to add event based scripts to BD but sadly that feature is still not available either. :/ |
Got it, thanks! I'm using a notebook so I disconnect this ultrawide display frequently. That's why association is important to me. |
I've briefly gone through the CLI docs, but still have no idea how to configure Associated displays of an virtual screen via CLI
