Out of caution these possibilities should be disabled by default but could be enabled by the user:

  • Allow disconnecting the main display - after some reflection, I don't think this is needed.
  • Allow disconnecting the built-in display of the iMac
  • Allow intentionally disconnecting even the last connected display
