I am not familiar with XReal AR Glasses - do you have an app or software for it that can change the curvature of the display it is mirroring? If so and there is a way to interact with it via CLI or something, then you can add a custom control to BetterDisplay to have a slider to change the curvature. Note: read the post - just want to mention if you create a virtual screen with a custom aspect ratio (instead of custom resolution), the app should give you a slider to scale the virtual screen's resolution freely. If you enable 8K+ resolution under Displays/Overview, you can have very high resolution virtual screens as well (not sure how the XReal AR Glasses and its software handle that though). |

Thanks for getting back to me, absolutely amazing app. The XReal Glasses are simply displays in the glasses with no built in software or control. When plugged in to a laptop they just show up as an additional display all be it a much larger display. By creating a higher resolution virtual display I am able to have a larger area desktop or in this case an UltraWide desktop and I can then set the glasses to mirror to that in the laptop. My thought was because the Virtual Display has been created within your app would it be possible to adjust the curvature with the addition of a slider ? As the desktop is virtual I thought that it might be possible to add a 1800R to 4000R curve option to the virtual display. Thanks again. |

I have a MacBook Pro and it connects to the glasses via a USB-C to USB-C cable that supports DisplayPort Video/Audio. I turn on the the virtual display and set the glasses to mirror to that and that gives me more control of what is displayed on the glasses, ie a custom UltraWide display rather than the normal desktop which would just be a mirror of the laptop display as normal. |

So if the virtual displays are part of MacOS so there would be no way to control the curve like you can do with the resolution ? |

Hello, I recently came up with an idea of combining your app with my XReal AR Glasses and it resulted in me creating this post so I could share it with others - https://www.reddit.com/r/Xreal/comments/1kjgndb/virtual_insanity/?rdt=64475 - I used your app to create new 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9 UltraWide Virtual Desktops and the results were astounding when viewed through the glasses. I was wondering if there could be a feature implemented in to your app that could use a slider to curve the Virtual Display. I understand that this may not be of any use on a monitor but when viewed through AR Glasses in my opinion could be a great option. Thank you.
