Process-
A sequence of steps that need to be completed to accomplish an activity / task from end-to-end.
Comment:
Consider replacing "steps" with "user actions". The focus is on the interaction. The step may also involve a background process that is not a user action which is not working for some reason.
Ability to focus on an inaccessible "user action" will strengthen advocacy efforts as opposed to a "step" in the flow.
