setting up client-server for NCSA's Delta

Hi, I'm trying to set up VisIt 3.3.3 client-server on NCSA's Delta system. The client can connect over SSH, the vcl and mdserver both start and I'm able to navigate the file system and submit a job. However, when I try to, e.g., draw a Pseudocolor plot of hardyglobal in noise.silo, the Engines tab shows Stage Status getting stuck at 75% and nothing ever draws. If I ssh into the job's compute node I can see engine_par listed in top but using 0.0% CPU and 0.0% memory.

I am able to run batch jobs using the same VisIt installation.

Any suggestions on how to go about troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't see anything that jumps out at me in the debug logs. Are you still having issues with this?

Any reason why you are using VisIt 3.3.3 as opposed to a newer release? Do any other @visit-dav/visit-developers have tips to troubleshoot?
