Adjusting width of file panel view

Description

For certain reasons, I need to increase the width of the file panel view. But this can be increased only to a certain level. Sometime filenames for assets eg, png are longer than the width of the file panel. This makes it hard to select the correct asset to incorporate into a figure

Alternatively, when hovering over the file, the filename / path should appear to make it possible to see the full filename or even the full path....

Any good reason to limit the width of the file panel?
