so i've setup everything as best i understood and created simple .less file to compile on the fly. right out ot the gate i get this error:

sublimetext3-less2css-neard-error

the strange thing is, node.exe works fine from any command line, cmd or PowerShell, and it is set in the System PATH. i've setup Less.js as directed: extracted ZIP to a location and added that location to User PATH (both base and bin). i can also call lessc from either command line as well. 😕

what is broken and how do i fix it? 💔 i also have this issue posted on the neard board in case it is an issue with his setup, but i wanted to post here as well to make sure i didn't miss some critical setup that wasn't in the docs. it looked pretty straightforward, but Ghost-in-the-Machine and all that... 👻

EDIT: could this be an issue?

i have looked, and what i can't suss out is WHY less2css is looking for the node.exe when it isn't there from the start? the less.js-windows zip doesn't contain node.exe... and the ST3 path to node.js is set accordingly.

so. NOT a problem with the neard environment. how do we fix it now?

so we've closed out the environment possibility. is there anywhere else i should be looking to fix this? i'd really like to be using this process as it seems about as streamlined as one can get... in theory... 😉
