why the kvm test is not failing if the service cannot be started? @tahmed-dev |
@lguohan it is not clear to me why it did not fail on kvm. Based on my finding from real DUT,
I'll dig a bit more on why kvm does not catch this. |
Reopen in order to track why kvm did not show this issue |

utility fails to connect to/var/run/redis/redis.sock
:The issue flow is:
Probably because
User=admin
inbgp.service
:Steps to reproduce the issue:
sudo systemctl restart bgp
sudo cat /var/log/syslog | grep -B 30 -A 5 /var/run/redis/redis.sock
Describe the results you received:
The
sonic-cfggen
utility fails to connect to/var/run/redis/redis.sock
.The errors in logs are generated.

No errors in logs
