Dear all,

for Windows, there's a perfect solution to provide the client-program ready configured for my own server.
of course it's not problem for me to configure it on macOS, but the problem is to do this with a no-experienced Remote-User.

Any idea?

Thx

  • Download Rustdesk
  • Rename the file like ...

rustdesk-host=domain.tld,key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.exe

domain.tld should be your domain at home or whereever and xxxxxxxxxxxxx = your public key from Rustdesk :-)

mmm ok I already knew that. But is very ugly that your users download that kind of filename.
I was hoping you found a better soluzione. I am working on automated script but I have problem when the service starts and reverts back all the edit I made on the yoml files :\

Yeah - not the nicest thing on earth.
I made a Wordpress-Site with User-Guides (including Videos) how to configure the clients.
But especially for non-IT-Users, it can be horrible... as supporter on phone you have to be patient :-) :-)
