Mainly because that's where the (robust) ecosystem is. I'd go as far as saying that Julia is a better language than Python for the kind of modelling I do, but the ecosystem is not there yet and few companies will pay you to work on Julia. If the best language always won, we'd all be using Lisp :) |

Arguably, computational graph hacking is a built-in feature in Julia. Why did you (and the rest of Aesara) stick to Python?
