Why do you still use Python?

Arguably, computational graph hacking is a built-in feature in Julia. Why did you (and the rest of Aesara) stick to Python?

Mainly because that's where the (robust) ecosystem is. I'd go as far as saying that Julia is a better language than Python for the kind of modelling I do, but the ecosystem is not there yet and few companies will pay you to work on Julia.

If the best language always won, we'd all be using Lisp :)
