Datapoints are deleted and re-created

It seems that the adapter is deleting and recreating datapoints.
"delete objects for all later hours (which are hours after sunset that do not exist)"

I use the history adapter to collect data from my plenticore and to visualize some statistics. When the adapter deletes and recreates datapoints, all my history-settings are deleted.
Is it possible to fix this (= NOT to delete objects after hours) ?
