Hash benchmarks

Hi, I'm thinking to make a repo with benchmarks for different hash algorithms (crypto/non).

What bench test should verify? Short strings, long strings, 1Mb, 1Gb files...any other ideas?

Byte slices with gradually increasing sizes, filled with random bytes and filled with zeros.

Well, there must be a limit for that) from 1 byte to killobyte even with power of 2 is 10 steps already.

There should be a test that reads cmd/env param, so everyone can test it easily using a binary.
