Cannot view my contributions to private repos on activity bar

Hello, I would like to understand why my daily commits to a private repo of a github organization that I am a member of are not visible on my activity page. I would expect them to show up as "contribution to private repo" or something like that, but they are not showing up at all. I do have the "Show private contributions" enabled. Thank you! :)

This is because the activity overview is a part of your public profile, so naturally, it wouldn't display actions performed to private repositories.

There is an option to display private contribs as well:
