Hey,

the new update makes "Contribution graph" less readable than before. I understand the intent to make it "shiny", but these white borders around every cell are destroying feel of "Contribution graph" completely. Contribution in total (per year or selected period) is not readable unless you focus on specific cell...

Thanks @nanonull - realized we neglected to ask you to confirm your appearance settings, as this appears to be high contrast mode which has a different set of things it's targeting, and want to be sure that's something you've chosen and that we're taking a look at the same thing. Could you confirm that you've chosen high contrast mode and that it's what you intended?

@helen the new graph is just too noisy! harsh on the eyes, revert the outlines.

@Zed-CSP Realistically that's the point of high contrast for users who need stronger visual cues, if it's disruptive to you I would recommend not using high contrast mode. This is why I need to confirm with the OP as to which color mode is being used.

@helen Yes, I am a user that this mode is intended for. This is making it’s rounds in the community of how bad it is. These borders are not information, nor do they aid the user, they are noise. No one needs additional noise added in the high contrast mode, we need contrast between information.

We beg you to fix this.

Yes, I am using "high contrast" setting with 'Dark default' theme.

The new design looks so much worse, specially in dell monitor with sRGB preset, I can barely see much with full vision.

I also HATE the new contribution graph borders. my day borders are soo light and thick I cant read my graph!

Yes, the new update makes it so much harder to read, I almost want to switch to light mode just because of it. Please change this Github!
