The new underline in pull requests is very annoying. Please add setting to disable that at least.

All the commits have underline which is really hard to read. Please don't make product changes that no one asked...

The underlines used in pull requests are an intentional accessibility feature to ensure that color is not the only visual means of conveying information. This aligns with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.1: Use of Color, which helps support users with color vision deficiencies and other accessibility needs.

Our team has reviewed your request to remove or toggle this feature. We want to be transparent: this is not currently on our development roadmap. That doesn’t mean we won’t consider it in the future, but it’s not being actively worked on at this time.

You can check our public roadmap for insight into our current priorities. While smaller changes may not always be listed, they can sometimes be addressed during related updates.

But it looks very ugly for us normal people. No offense to people who has difficulty reading stuff without underline. But what about the general public that does not need this underline ugly text that actually harms me reading the text?

Accessibility features should be toggles. Look at Apple. All their accessiblity features can be toggled on or off. If it's forced it's not accessibility just bad product decisions.

I found an option in the settings to turn the underlines off.

Navigate to https://github.com/settings/accessibility --> Then in the Content section there is a Link underlines subsection, select the Hide link underlines radio button. --> Then click on Save content preferences button.

After changing this setting, the underlines will not be shown in the pull request conversation view.
