Copilot usage APIs not returning data for 25th and 26th Nov

We are trying to call Copilot REST APIs - both /usage (old API) and /metrics (new API) - but aren't getting data for the 25th Nov and 26th Nov, across multiple organizations.

Is there an ongoing issue about this is being tracked internally?

I have the same issue. No usage data since the 23rd of Nov for my organization.

We’ve double-checked the API integration on our end and confirmed that:

• API requests are being sent correctly without errors.
• Responses indicate successful calls, but the data for November 25, 26 and 27 is missing.
• This issue is consistent across multiple organizations, suggesting it might not be specific to our implementation.

If there’s an internal issue being tracked, could you provide an update or an ETA for a resolution? Alternatively, if any recent changes to the API could explain this behavior, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.

Thanks for contacting GitHub Support.

We've announced the end of the /usage route with the release of the new /metrics route on our blog:

The GA release of the Copilot Metrics API introduces a newly revised schema which preserves all of the concepts from the preview, while expanding the contents in new ways. With the GA release, the preview route (/usage) is now closing down . To ensure that your existing reports are not interrupted, the preview route will remain online through January 31, 2025, when it will be retired.

No new data will be inserted for retrieval via the /usage beta endpoints. This endpoint will be accessible through February, but the 28 day retention policy will remain. This means that e.g. on the 5th of February you have access to 22 days of data (8 Jan - 1 Feb).

The copilot metrics API is only returning data up to 2025-02-20
