On open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector/issues/12565 and open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/issues/38395 I suggest we change the workflows to have two options: "bump minor" (default) or "bump bugfix" for prepare release workflows. I suggest we do the same here, this would make all workflows consistent and reduce the chance of human error
