I frequently get this error:

[15:50:00] Error in plugin "gulp-nsp"
Message:
    (+) Response Error: 408 Request Timeout

Similar error I always get and can't seem to figure out:

Error in plugin 'gulp-nsp'
Message:
    (+) Error: Client request error: socket hang up

Version 2.4.2 and 3.0.1 both give this error to me.
