I use linux desktop agent on Fedora Workstation.
I have downloaded the latest version 3.16.5 yet when looking inside the settings it shows 3.16.3
AS can be understood this has been consistent also through 3.16.4
Steps to reproduce
Open agent
Click on Account name
Select Settings
Select General
Look at Info - Client version.
Expected behavior
I expect to see the current version and not Advice showing me there is a new version that I've already downloaded and updated.
I use Gear Lever to manage my AppImage however I have also verified this behaviour through downloading and opening separately.

fwiw, I'm using the 3.16.5 AppImage and it reports the version just fine.
It could be that the old version is still running and the new AppImage build will just activate that one (might be an idea for an improvement to quit the app if the version doesn't match/is newer) -- in that case exit the currently running client first (either from the tray context menu -> "Exit Nextcloud", or from the accounts drop down -> "Exit"), and then start the new AppImage.
