New feature description:

Currently our fabric does a global level deploy but we need more granularity to do a switch level deploy.  We have customers that want to delay deploy to certain switches, like the spines during a maintenance window.

Would this be a new feature requiring a new addition to the data model?

Yes, working out the details.  Likely a flag boolean for each switch to indicate switch level deploy.  Possibly a global setting to control deploy scope.
