Create Issue

We are now streamlining publishing code and code-insiders to the Windows Package Manager:

Verification:

  • If not already installed, install winget from here: https://github.com/microsoft/winget-cli/releases
  • In the Windows terminal:
    • Run winget search vscode which should list both the "Code" and "Code - Insiders"
    • Run winget install Microsoft.VisualStudioCode -e to install Visual Studio Code
    • Run winget install Microsoft.VisualStudioCodeInsiders -e to install Visual Studio Code Insiders
